53’ Refrigerated Trailers

Portable Refrigeration Storage offers 53’ refrigerated trailers for rent. Our 53’ refrigerated trailer is the largest refrigerated trailer in our rental fleet. The 53’ refrigerated trailers have two features that make them very unique!

The first is the size and overall storage capacity. These giant refrigerated trailers have a 102” exterior width. They are capable of holding up to 24 standard pallets (single stacked, side by side). The 53’ refrigerated trailers are on wheels and can be backed up directly to your loading dock. This allows you to drive your fork trucks and pallet jacks directly from your warehouse into the refrigerated trailer.

The second unique feature is the roll up door. The roll up door in our 53’ refrigerated trailers allows for easy loading and unloading of your palletized product. The roll door (as opposed to cargo doors that swing open) gives us the versatility to back the refrigerated trailer up to just about any dock door configuration.

Like all of our refrigerated trailers, the 53’ refrigerated trailers are equipped with an “all electric” Carrier™ cooling system. The electric refrigeration machines require either 230V or 460V 3-phase power. They are able to maintain a constant temperature between 0˚F and 75˚F. The electric refrigeration machines are environmentally friendly, are quieter than their diesel counterparts and are a fraction of the cost to operate in comparison to diesel trailers.
